Professor Plum

My new laptop arrived today. (Well, technically, it arrived Wednesday... but, we were both at work. I may not miss living in the middle of nowhere very often... but, God bless those rural delivery-dudes and their penchant for shoving a box damn near anywhere to avoid having to come back the next day.)

I spent most of yesterday installing, uninstalling, disabling, downloading, customizing and Googling the phrase "How to turn off [insert useless feature here] in Vista."

Today was mostly spent playing The Sims 2. On the couch. For the first time.

I had to go out and buy a new graphics card to even run the game on my first PC... and even then, there were a few features I was never able to use until I got my second PC/another new graphics card. This laptop? Runs it all. Perfectly.

Of course, The Sims 3 is coming along soon. Bastards.

Anyway. I've named the laptop Professor Plum. He and I are going to go back to The Sims 2, now.
